Cymedica Group Enters the Romanian Market: Veteco Interservices Joins the Group

Cymedica Group is strengthening its position in Central and Eastern Europe. In July 2026, Cymedica Vet Development acquired a majority stake in Veteco Interservices, one of Romania's most respected distributors of veterinary medicines and animal health products.

Veteco has been active on the Romanian market since 1999. Over 27 years, it has built a strong position and long-term relationships with thousands of partners – veterinarians, clinics, pharmacies and farms across the country. The founding family remains a shareholder and will continue to be involved in the leadership and development of the company, with founder Dr. Sorin Badea continuing as Country Director.

Through this acquisition, Cymedica Group expands its operations to eight countries across Central and Eastern Europe. Veteco gains access to the resources, know-how and infrastructure of a strong regional group, supporting its further growth. For Veteco's business partners, nothing changes – existing cooperation, agreements and points of contact remain the same.
