SkinMed® HydroGel HY is a veterinary preparation in the form of gel with hyaluronic acid, which supports healing of damaged skin and mucous membranes. The gel hydrates the wound, reduces microbial load, prevents secondary infection and creates humid environment, helping the body to develop its own healing process. It helps stop bleeding, soothes injuries, reduces pain and swelling. Hyaluronic acid speeds up the healing process, prevents collagen deposition and thus eliminates scarring. The gel consistency is optimal for application in all positions (it does not run down) and it adheres to the wound site perfectly. The application is painless, the gel does not burn or irritate. The gel is also safe when licked or swallowed.
